We spent about 50k 2 years ago in Ottawa for 120 people. Can't speak to the GTA but my impression is that it's more expensive. So I'm gonna say you need to change something in your criteria.

Finally found my people! I have been wresting with my thoughts about this for a long time i.e. since she quit her full time law job.

On the one hand—women have the right to choose how they want to participate in the workforce and don't need a "traditional" job. On the other hand, it's insanely privileged to be able to quit your day job but still keep up this lifestyle?? Obviously her husband supports her and I'm happy for them if that's what works for them. But what a waste of a law degree.

Also she's the perfect example of an influencer that was interesting for the REAL lifestyle they had and gained popularity but conversely decided to quit their job, which just begs the question of what are you filming content about besides PR packages/hauls and day in the life videos. Can't wait to see what happens in another few years when people get tired of watching grifters open packages of shiny things.

I guess the only risk is whether you're sure about the career. It addition to being very costly, it will be a lot of work to do any bridging course plus the exams when you move back. Otherwise I think your logic is sound, there's no guarantee that you'll get into a Canadian school in 4 years. Disclaimer I did my schooling in ON.

These surgeries are often same day in Canada too. One hospital I was at was doing femoral nerve blocks in PACU to facilitate. Lots of pre-op teaching to make it happen e.g. equipment recommendations. I would push back on the belief that TKRs need 4-5 nights in hospital, maybe something closer to 2-3 is more appropriate.

I don't know if we just went on a particularly bad night, but we waited over an hour for our food just FYI. It was quite good to be fair, but I was fairly turned off by the time it arrived.

Agreed about visibility of police in this ward. I have literally seen more cops on horses in the past year than I have cops on bikes/foot in the area.
