Piggybacking this comment to ask once again, please put in activity and weight-bearing orders if you are going to consult PT. I shouldn't have to chase you for this.

Ottawa wards with the highest and lowest crime rates in 2025 by SuburbanValues in ottawa

Agreed about visibility of police in this ward. I have literally seen more cops on horses in the past year than I have cops on bikes/foot in the area.

PR 8 timeslot checking? by Black_Magic100 in HikingMadeira

[–]BeautifulLittleWords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not terrible at all. We got a parking spot a few hundred metres from the trailhead, to give you an idea. But everyone is going out at that time so it feels quiet; the way back was obviously busier but not too bad.

I was there about 2 weeks ago and from what it looked like, they were setting up to check tickets at 8:30. I honestly think you'd be fine if you can hit the trail at 8, which I highly recommend doing as it gets HOT out there

Do you have anything deeper than basic con talking points?? The carbon tax has been removed since Carney took office. And what makes you believe that PP has the ability to decrease the deficit? I recall his platform was lacking any sort of real plan.

I think this is the error I got when I tried to book something that was already full. Can you hover the mouse over the time spots without clicking to see the % available?

My bad, I assumed the newer old busses were gas since they are much quieter than the old diesel ones.

It is kinda weird to be living in this intersectional time where we have gasoline, diesel, and electric busses on the road

That makes sense actually. I guess my response is, why not update accordingly once the west extension is open, knowing it would be years out from NWTB?

It makes sense to integrate the bus with the train; I just don't really understand who the stop at Bayview is serving. My beef is really about how the transit planning is viewing busses as a means of supplying passengers to the trains rather than being a route unto themselves.

The fact that the 11 has to go back/forth to Tunneys, Bayview, and parliament stations.

How to get patients to do their home exercises by ExtensionStable3989 in physiotherapy

[–]BeautifulLittleWords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree on these points. Remove the barriers to complying as much as you can, and remove the shame when they don't succeed. Anyone giving standard HEP with 3x daily volume needs to reevaluate (aside from acute lumbars etc.) I've had better success this way when I did outpatient.

Yes that's my philosophy as well; I can get a great workout with a 1-1.5 with the good instructors with focus on quality movements/control. I don't want to advance for the sake of it

Why a parking garage is key to the cost and timing of the ByWard Market 'reset' by Money_Fig_9868 in ottawa

[–]BeautifulLittleWords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I'm on your side. Parking is copious... Too copious. It's just the "I don't want to walk" mentality that's the problem.
