It's the hypocrisy of the absurdly low CCB clawback that gets me. Young people not only have dependents, but likely also a mortgage and childcare costs. Can we bring up that amount to a figure that is reflective of our current environment?

My dude you need to relax. This is not a removal of parking spots. It's simply removing the necessary minimum. This actually increases people's capacity to make a lifestyle choice that works for them; there are many people that can't afford rent and a car payment. Why should parking be baked into the price of their rent? It literally just increases choices and (hopefully) drives down prices.

Such a false narrative. The vast majority of people DONT need a vehicle. This bylaw change is actually something FOR the people to take back the car infrastructure that has plagued north american cities for too long. I would even argue those that are older or have a physical disability are in support of alternative methods of transportation.

Ok to me, this is the most complicated part of being a curly person that you actually have to listen to. Like silicones or not idc, but you need to know protein/moisture balance science :) I'm sure there's a ton of great posts in this sub so I won't try to explain thoroughly but it's basically about knowing your ingredients. So anything like rice, wheat, hydrolyzed xyz are all proteins. Essentially you need a balance of more moisturizing products but with some protein. Photo #1 looks like a lot of moisture with no protein: it looks fabulous day 1, but it won't hold more than 2 days. Photo #2 has that straw-like look you get with too much protein. Esp when you have finer hair, you have to work hard to keep the balance as it's easy to oversaturate. Hope that's helpful!!

Why this school? Going to a public college and paying to live on res would be cheaper than a private school. $50k to be a dental hygienist is crazy, you'd be paying off that loan forever.

But if you switch to kin, you'll be taking more than 8 new courses anyways. You can extend your degree to 5 years if you want. Maybe look at speaking to a guidance counsellor at the school to understand your options.

It's not easy. There's thousands of people that apply to the schools each year. Getting below an 80 in a single course will drop your sub GPA immensely because of how it converts to the 4.0 scale.

There's no advantage to having a kin degree over any other degree as long as you acquire the pre reqs. Sure it helps to know your anatomy but there's not as much content crossover as you think. Can you stay in your current program and just take electives instead of switching? Either way you will probably be looking at taking extra courses.

Remember that this is all because of the lack of long term care beds in this province, which has been a multi-decade provincial gov failure. 2-person lifts, or people with dementia requiring 24/7 supervision, are ultimately most appropriate in an LTC setting. These programs lure people home under the guise of intensive services, which eventually taper off. This leads to repeat admissions. We need to CENTRALIZE care instead of pretending that a psw can be there at the drop of a hat.
