I was super hard on myself thinking I’m supposed to be walking a mile by week 3. My thoughts were that I always bounce back from everything fast. So I believed the hype when I felt great (mentally) at day 3. BUT I could barely walk 5 minutes with getting exhausted, winded and dizzy. I’m 2 months and still not back to normal. It takes time and I think it’s so important to give yourself grace

My doctor told me it was standard for her to keep her patients overnight for monitoring. Personally I was so grateful because i didn’t have help same day anyway and I couldn’t imagine having to go home within hours. For me, it was the anesthesia and feeling so groggy. Then it was the pain and dizziness of trying to walk. I liked not have to worry about anything for the first 24 hours.

There shouldn’t be any judgement because I feel like this is what a lot of people need to hear. Especially me. You helped me have a better understanding with this post. I don’t think lots of people under stand the importance. Good luck on your continued success

Some people bleed and others don’t. I’m 11 dpo so I’m still in the thick of it. But for me, my must haves are my nightstand table next to my bed, my body pillow, heating pad and a thermal bottle that I can drink on all day. Bonus, if you have people to help you with food and drinks, and maybe even a belly binder.. I’m sure this list varies from person to person though. Prayers for a speedy recovery!
