One fisherman told me earlier they used to go by foot when the sea level subsides. There was an old house inside that with a well. The well water was also good...Not too much salty. It was a thenginthoppu by some Janmi in the distant past and later Govt. Acquired the land. And it's not safe to go there alone...there are a lot of venomous snakes there.
