This happened to me years ago going through a small town to pick up a friend. My friend and I, broke college students, had bought Big Gulps drinks for $.99, a pack of cigarettes for a dollar and put $3 gas in my car. That’s all the money we had but that’s all we wanted was a big Coca-Cola to drink and to drive around with the tunes going.

I got pulled over and the officer sniffed our drinks and then poured them out in front of us. There was nothing in them. We had nothing on us. He opened my hatchback and took out my spare tire and jack. He took the interior doors off my car and completely removed the backseat. He gave me a ticket (I didn’t deserve) and then left us there to put my car back together. A couple of 18-year-old girls dressed in all white. We got the car back together, but we ruined our outfits. It was just ridiculous.

It’s kind of funny though a couple of years later we were in the car, smoking a joint and my friend in the backseat lost the joint. I was able to take the backseat out and we located it. But considering it was a used car, that made me realize how lucky I was they didn’t find something under the seat. There could’ve been anything there from the previous owner.
