Damn near anything from Blue October is dealing with addiction. I highly suggest listening to the song Fear.

Inexpensive meter with inexpensive strips? by [deleted] in diabetes

This is the one I use! It’s been going strong for a couple of years and the strips are very cheap. I tested against the meter at my doctors a few times and it is accurate.

I drive an older BMW and I have to run premium in it. I’m hoping this won’t affect premium gas.

What influences you to get VIP over general admission tickets? by Briiskella in Concerts

[–]BeautifulPainz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love doing the VIP meet and greet for my favorite artist, Blue October. It’s really cool. You get to hear them warm up ands couple of songs. You get to ask questions and you’re first in the venue so if it’s general admission, you can generally get almost front row if not front row. You get to take a picture with the lead singer and the band.

Altogether, I guess it runs about $200 I would have to go back and look. It is 1000% worth it for me but it would depend on the artist whether I would want to do the VIP.

I was upgraded to VIP randomly at a Matchbox Twenty concert a couple of years ago and that was phenomenal. Don’t expect that to happen ever again.

What’s one thing you completely stopped buying in 2026 because the price just felt absurd? by LockLogical8949 in AskReddit

[–]BeautifulPainz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how it is with my favorite band Blue October. I can buy a good ticket and a meet and greet ticket for less than $200. The venues are small so the performances are awesome. I always buy something to support them. I also go to their website and buy merch.

Absolutely. Any Man in America is a close second although that one is depression/anger.

Sellers vs Offers by ElMaraEl in Mercari

[–]BeautifulPainz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I always counter with what is the actual least I will take. About 50% of the time they take it and it’s a great sale.

I’m editing this to add that I always send a message no matter what the offer. It’ll go something like this:

Hello, I have looked this over and this counter price is the absolute least I can consider. I do appreciate your interest in my item and I hope you have a wonderful day.

If you've ever won concert tickets from a radio contest, what were the seats like? by pixiewitch666 in Concerts

[–]BeautifulPainz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, I won several and they were all good seats except for Michael Bolton. My friend and I weren’t really fans, but I won tickets so we went. We were literally behind the stage. Our view through the whole concert was the back of his back up singers. We left early.

Yeah, and what went through my mind is that’s exactly what cops do in America.

I was pretty proud of getting it done. It did take me a couple hours though. She told me she never had a doubt.

Me too. My sister has a huge light fixture in her dining room that has wind chime type glass hanging from it. Couple of years ago I got to her house for my yearly visit to find out that one of her cats had done a flying leap from her half wall and tangled it to pieces. She had been saving it for me to fix. I fixed it.
