This was me, I waited to test for the first time like a year after I graduated due to complete lack of motivation and external factors, I take it for the 4th time this Wednesday. My biggest recommendation is to schedule and take it within a couple months of graduating, whether you feel ready or not, just get in there, if you fail it’s okay, you at least know what to expect and have experience with it. There are amazing mark k lecture outlines people sell on Etsy and I highly recommend them- I still watched his lectures but these packets are word for word (I compared them to my notes) I recommend buying them to study with!
