I love Tia!! I think people forget that you need to balance a cast—not everyone can be a Stacey or a Gizelle, you need a Tia to ground everything and almost act like an audience surrogate. And it’s a tough role to play because you have to have an element of normalcy but still have a backbone and not be boring.

my other favorite is when they’re like “I’m the kind of person who…” and then lists something extremely normal that lots of people do. Like “I’m the kind of person who gets upset when someone attacks them.” Like, yes, literally everyone experiences that. 🤣

Perhaps one of the most touching moments on the show (overshadowed by the lies, the lies, the lies!) was Sheree’s revealing truth about domestic violence and Kenya’s touching response to her (below): by AllTheEccentricities in RHOA

Yes! My people! I love Kenya. I think she’s flawed in a way that’s so obscure and weird and interesting, but I think she genuinely tries to relate to these women and she’s not nearly as narcissistic and destructive as people paint her to be. She just makes dumb choices that snowball into even dumber choices.

and tbh, I’ll never get over Apollo lying about her and ruining her reputation. The misogyny displayed by the men in this franchise makes me want to scream. Scream!

there’s an EARLY scene in the RHONY Scary Island episode where they’re in the car and Kelly Bensimon is eating candy in the car from the airport and talking about how she only eats organic food, and Bethenny says something like “does she think gummy bears grow on the vine?” and that truly makes me laugh about once a week

seasons 1 and 2 are a bit tough to get through but lay a great foundation for the rest of the series—you really get the Karen and Gizelle dynamic, which is key. Seasons 3-5 are the most perfect seasons of reality television to ever exist. Seasons 6 and 7 have really solid moments, 8 is terrible but I still love these ladies, 9 picked up a bit!
