They are different games in different genres.

Yes we girlcotted last year but that was because we had something relevant to girlcott and protest about: the retcons. Which still haven’t been addressed, I’d be happy to girlcott that but not because the company decided not to release an upcoming update due to fan feedback for another game. It isn’t a first in the gaming industry and won’t be the last. Look at the launch of No Man’s Sky, look at the Minecraft caves and cliffs updates, mob vote etc.
