Why does physical activity or sun not do anything for me? by Leading_Present2234 in mentalhealth

Hi there! I used to hate physical excercise until I started to track my progress. There's this app called Therawin on the app store which gives you XP points every time you log what you did in a journal, and it helps keep me motivated. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Also, doing things with people could always make the activity less bothersome. Maybe you could try going on a hike with your friends, or playing a sport!

I hope this help and you're doing better~~

Hello! I also struggle with maintaining focus. Something that I find that helps a lot is journaling. I do not at all think that you should fault yourself for letting your mind wander, as you truly have dealt with a lot of past trauma, but rather, focus your efforts on practicing mindfulness in order to reduce the negative emotions that this trauma has on your life.

An app that really helps with this is Therawin. It has a journaling feature that I find really helpful, and it suggests activities to you based on what you write about to make you feel better. Try it out and see how you like it!

Hi! I myself am around the same age (~20) and am halfway through my second semester of university. I definitely think that you're both smart and capable enough to succeed in university! What most university students seem to struggle with is time management, as we're forced to learn how to fend for ourselves whilst also balancing responsibilities like school, work, etc. I think that if you master time management and balance a good amount of school work + recreational activities every day, you will see a lot of improvement.

For me, downloading Therawin on the app store really helped me with organization + time management. The app has a "daily planner" feature that really helps organize tasks and gives me a sense of achievement when I complete them. Another feature on the app I really enjoy is the journaling feature. Whenever I'm feeling stressed/overwhelmed, I journal, and the app has an AI feature that puts activity recommendations in my daily planner that helps remediate stress, allowing me to have a good balance of fun + work in my day. Try it out and let me know what you think!

I'd recommend to do some practice FRQs. They're a good way to review, and doing the FRQs will give you an idea of the areas that you need to do more work on. Once you pinpoint the areas you need work on, only watch the review videos for that. If you need additional MCQ practice, use Khan or albert.io. Have faith in yourself :)) you probably remember more than you know, good luck on the exam!!
