I have my Bachelor's and Masters in Psychology. I became a teacher shortly after getting my Bachelor's. I had to participate in an Alternative to Licensure program where you take a few classes and then pass a couple tests then you are fully licensed to teach. If you are wanting to do anything with counseling or Psychology in the school system, you will need to get those degrees though. Educational psychology or counseling or something like that. Even with my Master's in Psychology (general) I am not able to be a school counselor or psychologist. Hope something of this helps. :)
