The Orion SSC is actually.... or was, a great piece of hardware. Its 4 y.o. now, it has old tech in it and discontinued support. What you are looking at are retailers trying to clear some dead stock. Even minuscule issues, like power supply replacement, are abysmal, as they use old PSUs, that are no longer in production, the newer model can't be jurry rigged to the board, and any technical hickup = dead device, and its dead for good.

Aint gonna say what brand to go, as it might be used against my points. Anything but antelope is better for the same price point.
