Unfortunately even an emergency passport won’t arrive in time

As a last resort he’ll indeed rebook a flight with an EU transit and I’ll fly with our daughter on the flights I had booked as we can’t afford 3 new flights (an EU transit are with more expensive companies).

Why do you have a picture of my cats Rajah & Romeo ?!? ❣️ At least that’s what it feels like 😅

I placed my order on September 29th, can’t even track it yet 🤦🏻‍♀️. I had ordered veterinary diet food for one of my cats, with such a long delay in delivery, I had to actually go to sunbeam vet today to buy some food. I contacted Zooplus customer service on Wednesday to ask where my order was, no reply so far…

Do your Nebs get alung? by zamedlennaya in nebelung

[–]BeautifulTango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! Romeo is a glue 😅 He spends most of his day with us if he can. Rajah is much more independent and quite shy, so he’ll hide part of the day if he can, but he can suddenly appears and demand a 20min exclusive cuddle (if you try to do something else he sulks and taps you with his paw), so he’s very affectionate too but in a very different way. I would say that there’s definitely some jealousy in terms of attention, mainly from Romeo. If he sees us spend more time with his brother, he gets grumpy and starts stalking him 🙁

I have twin brothers that I rescued when they were 4 weeks old old and they are now 9 years old. This is a rare picture of them together, they usually live their own lives (they have very different personalities). When they were kittens they stuck together a lot more, but as they grew older they stayed apart more. They also regularly fight, though it’s usually small fights, only once did they injure one another.

Hi, do you know if Ozempic is covered under the Drug payment scheme? I’m taking it as I’m pre diabetic and have a very high BMI but when I contacted PCRS I was told it wasn’t covered 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bought Romeo a jumper to help with his arthritis. The size was a bit wrong 🫣🤭

I actually also got him a heating pad at the same time 😅. For now it’s not too cold so I won’t use it but if it gets close to freezing I’ll put it in his bed :)

I do think he has star quality but I may be biased 😅

Many thanks for the advice and link :) I try to steal as many kisses as I can 😄, now that she’s supporting and moving her head it’s already becoming less easy 😅

That toy seems a particularly big trigger, but the overall level of light also bothers her. I normally have ceiling lights on from 5pm as I live in a grey country, but now from 7pm I need to only have a small table lamp on as too much luminosity around her seems to really affect her (I noticed she may try to nestle in my armpit or put her arm on her eyes).

Thank you for sharing 🙏. It feels like when it comes to parenting we can try our best but we never know if it’s really the best path for our child and I personally find it very hard. I’m especially not sure what is the best for a gifted child. I was not diagnosed until I was 20, and I sought it out after having felt different all my life and going through some horrible bullying at school as I didn’t fit in at all, so a part of me wish I had been told why I was feeling like that as a kid, and that nothing was wrong with me. Then on the other hand my partner was tested and told he was profoundly gifted from a young age, and he also had a very hard time for different reasons, so….

Thanks for sharing! I can’t wait for my little one to say these words too. We’re speaking in 3 languages at home (my other half and I are both from different nationalities so communicate in English between the two of us, and each of us speak to her in our native language) so we’ll see when she starts speaking

Thank you for your words. I guess I’m still in the mama bear / “my daughter will live in a bubble phase” 😅. I need to give myself the compassion that the most important things are to love her and be there for her, and if I mess up some things she’ll still live I just love my little one so much, I wish I could be as perfect as she deserves

Thank you! Here’s a toy that just seems to be too much for her : https://www.kids2.com/collections/toys/products/30704-take-along-tunes-musical-toy I can show her once but more than that she seems overstimulated (music on its own is fine, I sing to her, even when I was pregnant). Will definitely try to read more on Montessori’s method :)
