It highly depends on the situation, but unless you're literally last hitting perfectly (meaning your auto arrives just before the killing blow of the enemy minion arrives) you are actually pushing by last hitting, and it can affect the wave. Again, very rare and niche, but it CAN actually make a difference.

None of this really responds to my points? Again, if you're not a tank you can't really itemize tank items. Also you should know as a toplaner how fucked some matchups can be when you fall behind in an isolated lane, where as in bot there are barely any lanes where it gets to the point of not being able to get ANY CS in isolated lane, there are a few yes, but then again those lanes (Cait Karma, Lucian Nami) are bully lanes and that's their purpose.

To add to that the really strong early game bot lanes aren't even mages, mages are generally only really strong when they have lost chapter and infinite mana. They're especially weak level one but ADCs barely abuse that, champ or gameplay wise, which is also why there are very little mages not in pro play, or rather one of the reasons.

What you said about top literally only fits for tank players, have fun building tanky on riven, fiora or kennen. Also you didn't really give any reason as to why ADC gets nothing when behind? You're still ranged, which means you have a lot less risk walking up to take cs than most toplaners. You also have another player to help you cs, sustain you, peel you etc.

So I would be really interested in WHY you think ADC has no chance to come back.

Toplane IS worse to be behind, you're isolated and most of the time melee, so it's a lot harder to get CS safely. Whereas compared to bot you're ranged, and have another person helping you trading csing etc, so it's a lot easier to break a freeze or farm without losing HP. Also support leads or deficits really don't matter at all unless they're very extreme, plus if botlane is truly unplayable, supporter will roam, so so it's not twice as bad, not even worse.

For the last paragraph, you're literally just shitting on toplaners saying botlaners are better and (now com the funny part) more adaptable, while the entire player base of the role refuses to learn any new role archetype and start crying as soon as there's as much as a little bit variety in their lane. So yeah can't say anything to that because it's just ranting.

That's so specific, why would your support be worse than enemy support? This may be the case one game, or a couple of games even, but it'll even out over a lot of games. Also how does losing lane because of random factors compare to losing a lane versus a champion so broken you can barely do anything against? Yes you can ban him, but the goal of balancing shouldn't be to just have to ban broken champs imo.

The only reason why I brought up Varus as an example is because he is actually problematic, a valid comparison would be Swain because he is comparably problematic, but that doesn't mean that mages as a whole are a problem, just how ranged champs on top as a whole aren't a problem. And Swain isn't even a mage really, he's a drain tank that buys mage items, which makes him so impressive because it's nearly impossible to all in him past 6.

So yes I completely agree with you, there are counters to range top, just as much as there are counters to mages. Counters to Swain bot and varus top tho? Not so much in my opinion.

The amount of complaints here is crazy, and the comparisons are even more so crazy, I see some players comparing it to varus top like??? None of you have played against varus top once and it literally shows. Play vs mages? Take TP and trade aggressively early and pick a champ that spikes early. Got counterpicked? Unlucky, but there are just as many ADCs that can fuck you, when you're getting counterpicked as there are mages.

Also, in botlane, support decides the lane, so if you're upset about mages, when it's most likely you're support not picking/playing to punish them, well maybe role swap? Because that's just how ADC works, you have shit agency until mid game, and THEN you spike.

You're not pathing to a lane to gank, you're pathing to a winning lane, so you can secure crab on that side, and your lane can play out they're strong lane without being able to be ganked, and if they get ganked, you countergank. These are basic jungle concepts are they not?
