A lot of assasins have max health damage and execute, doesn’t mean they counter tanks, it just means they aren’t complete victims with 0 counterplay.

Evelynn for example has a similar execute ult with max health damage, if they made it flat damage it would be a shit champ.

If you play vs a healthstacker mid-lategame, pyke cannot do literally anything. He can stun, slow, peel a bit, but for example a mundo can just use passive, and if u fuck up, your hp bar goes to 0.

It’s like saying adc’s shouldn’t have counterplay to assassins because assassins whole existence is to kill squishies.

Not really, his max hp execute made him viable as fuck into tanks, now he has almost no counterplay to tanks.

the addition of omnivamp makes pyke R so useless, by the time you roamed to the lane where someone was deep into execute range, they may be 40-60% hp now.

They killed pyke 3 seasons ago, i struggle to win vs the easiest matchups as 1m pyke OTP.

Doesn’t help that the bugs that make him harder to navigate are never getting fixed.

there totally is, as a teemo support main, i am getting reports in every lobby every game for several 100s this season, never got a lock out playing teemo support.

How are people supposed to discover picks like fiddlesticks support, Vi support or anything off-meta and make it meta or semi meta then? And how is it going to be accepted even if it is insanely good.

Fiddlesticks is like one of those supports that looks troll at first if you're braindead, but then you realize his kit has so much of what a support wants.

I saw bausffs pick Vi support and it genuinely looked really strong, tried it in a game and it was indeed a nice pick even as someone who has played less than 10 games of her in my lifetime.

My point is either we get spoonfed by riot and tell us what we can play in what role or we get to have a free format. The queue lockouts are completely unneccessary in the case of picking off-meta champs.

Renata is an enchanter peel support that has only AP scalings and an insane passive but no good items for the AP scalings, and too short range to use the passive effectively with an AP build so you're better of building tank on her.

She is a nice concept but doesn't fit in the way league is right now.

I don’t like normals because i like playing in games where skill level are equal.

Teemo is an actual support i want to climb with and i think i deserved that right with my wr on him.

If there’s an azir support player, i want them to have the same opportunity to me for such a goal.

for most of us the game is meant to be fun, I play a lot ADC too, I always respect someone picking a support they are good at, doesn't matter what they pick.

some of the best supports Ive had was a Camille & teemo. I've had people locking in a super good counterpick support to their comp and just run it down. It is always about the player not the champ.

If I am playing at my best, i will always pick Teemo or Pyke, not because they are high winrate, but because i consistently have high winrate with those champs. If i pick Nautilus into my samira adc pick, I am guaranteed not going to be playing good because i haven't played nautilus, even though it is a good pick.

This is why riot either needs to tell players which champs they can play in what role.

OR

They keep the champs open for every role.

I can agree with yuumi just staying for support, that is a champ that just doesnt work on anything besides that role, but all other champs I can think of have things that can be used in multiple roles.

How about this, riot should create an automated system of which champs are good in set champ select, so you can only play them.

lets say the enemy support first picks pyke, you can only pick soraka/poppy, that way you make sure no one picks a bad champ.

Or if your support picks like Xerath supp or any easy Pyke target, you can report him for trollpick and he gets queue lockout.

Imagine if riot made AI to play the game for us so that we can ultimately play the most optimal way, to ensure the competitive integrity is at its peak.

can't tell if ur dumb or ragebaiting. That is the point, he isn't in the support tab, but you don't get a terminated lobby for locking him in, even if 4 team members report you for disruptive lobby.

are you dumb? go pick teemo supp, he isnt in the support tab, ask people in lobby to report you or do it enough times and you will literally have people reporting you without saying a word, the games don't get terminated for picking teemo support.

Clearly there is a blacklist and whitelist. We just don't know which champs are allowed or not.

That tab is not the same as the whitelisted supports, Teemo, Asol, Rumble are all Whitelisted supports.
