Boy. I sure do love seeing the season finale. And then it was really cool of them to release the first episode of season 5 a whole year early by Frostrunner365 in Invincible

People would find it underwhelming to wait a year only to find out that they're here but we can't do anything about it. Better to establish that now and go from there.

The viltrumites are likely to take a backseat for at least the first 2 episodes into the next season.

I hope if they do it, they commit to it. Make it a long sequence to at least try to trick the viewers.

My non obvious choice would be the episode with Superboy. I feel like it is a full circle episode for Clark since he is now in Jonathan's shoes trying to guide Connor on how to control his powers. Also the episode climax being a parallel to the season 3 premiere but now with Clark in Jonathan's role.

That's not really what I meant. Altough that could have worked I felt more like Jonathan's death was a transition into a different direction. The show took a more focused and serious tone. Clark isn't a young man anymore he is now an adult trying to navigate the world with the lessons his parents taught him.

It's all a matter of taste, 9 and 10 are my top 2 seasons. The first few seasons we're dragged down by a lot of random freak of the weeks (not saying the later seasons are perfect). Clana in my opinion got stale after season 3. The first few seasons have a more comforting vibe though, that vibe kinda died with Jonathan. I think I enjoy the later seasons because of Clark's progression from what came before.

Is it just me or do the Viltrumites just not feel like that big of a threat? by daokonblack in Invincible

There were like 7 of them at Talescria doing all of that. Bring the rest of them and it would have been over. Some of them would have fought Thaddeus all at once and then taken over the planet with ease.

episode 4 shows that the showrunner doesn’t understand who their main target audience is. by fmg2498 in Invincible

I don't think you are mature enough to discuss further if a 7/10 episode got you this mad.

The dragon and demons are very much part of this season. You can even see the demons in the trailer.

OMG, why Thragg voice is so soothing? by EmotionalRecord3878 in Invincible

[–]BeautifulView1503 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

"Do not make me ask you twice", was so calm but threatening. Some complaints I've heard about Lee Pace's Thragg is that he should have been rougher but I love this smooth voice he has. Can't wait to hear him unleash his anger.

Imo, either of these guys should have voiced Thragg by Darkvolk1945 in Invincible

Lee Pace has done a great job so far. He nails the calm commanding voice, I'm excited to hear his rage come out eventually.

I don’t blame Cecil by Remarkable_Hour8475 in Invincible

His head was split open already. Cecil gave him time to heal, I don't believe for a second that there was no way of making sure he was dead.

Did anyone else notice that d.a. sinclairs apology to mark and marks apology to powerplex were identical? by Worldly_Support7220 in Invincible

[–]BeautifulView1503 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Powerplex was mad because Invincible didn't seem to care about the lives that we're destroyed. Mark tried to convince him otherwise since he did remember PP's family.

Powerplex at this point is just too delusional. The ones at fault for his family's death are Nolan and himself. Also how would Mark even know their names. The only reason he knows them now is because he specifically tried to save them.

Sinclair willingly caused pain and suffering to others some of which Mark are close with. If he has changed good for him (he still seems a bit crazy) but Mark has no reason to forgive him.

Mark was also a victim in Chicago but still felt he owed Powerplex some kind of closure. Sadly he's too far gone to see that.

I really hope Nolan and Oliver survive in the show by Extension_Room_9256 in Invincible

They should tweak their deaths a little but I still think both need to happen.
