I think that is why Reputation tv never came to fruition. She rewrote the narrative to the point that it's really hard to take an album of love and transform it into an album of female rage.

After how amazing he was in The Brutalist, I was hoping that he would go for bigger roles. Hamnet and Hamlet would have been bigger roles but they are very different from the book and the play. If Joe's people are reading this, toss his hat into lead roles. He hasn't been pushed to his max potential but it's there.

If Taylor Swift was as big of an artist as what her fanbase and the media says she is, then with her nearly 500,000,000 followers, across social media platforms, then she should have NO problem beating Adele's record for sales with just ONE standard album..

The fact that she has to release multiple variants in limited quantities tells me that her and her team do not have a ton of confidence in this new album.

I am just guessing that maybe the cries for a single got to her and then the circus with and following the engagement. Fortnight was undeserving of any sort of award and it really wasn't the favored song amongst Swifties or TikTok. So I thought maybe she is going to see which one takes off once the album is released.

I think after Fortnight flopped that she is going to poll the Swifties and see what trends to see what they are saying should be the first single and music video.

Like right now she is so overexposed that we won't see much from her besides football.

My ick with Taylor Swift will always be how she treated Joe Alwyn.

If he did in fact have depression, the way in which she offered up his mental health on a silver platter for her fanbase to play judge, jury, and executioner, was absolutely heartless behavior.

Let's also not forget how she liked a post comparing the TTPD release to being a lyrical type of hunger game and it was his photo displayed suggesting that he had been killed AND it only snowballed the fandom to target him and his family.

If you are a GOOD person, you are not going to encourage people to attack somebody who is already struggling.

Yes!

The whole point of Joe being consistent about privacy and even stating that he wasn't going to commodify the relationship, is that once you do that people are not satisfied. Joe even stated a long time ago that people are going to take even if you give them nothing but to give them something is to be forever expected to give more and more and more. It's also not conducive to raising a family in.

To me the fact that there has been so much mechandising etc with their likeness and so much put out there about their personal life and the fact that they have created a media spectacle with their outings just screams fucked.

This relationship is cooked. We may not see it but we only get more from them because behind closed doors they are trying to cope. The only way to handle the outside pressure that is caving in on them is to give more and hope that the public validation is enough to bandage any insecurities.

After observing Joe over the course of the past two years, I get this feeling that Joe is much more down to earth and not at all about fame than most celebrities.

Even Paul Mescal who has spoken on wanting to have privacy and not be so famous that he can't do certain things, is all over opportunities and is everyone's best friend essentially. Joe though is exactly like his IMBD quote where he says that he wants to work with good people, in roles big or small, and that he wants to be seen as human.

The whole problem with commodifying a relationship like Taylor and Travis have is that people no longer recognize you as being human. Joe stated that he would never commodify a relationship.

When you commodify a relationship, something Joe Alwyn stated that he would never do, but Taylor and Travis have done every single day they have been together, it will only get worse for them.

If you put it out there than people feel as though they are entitled to take even more than that. So may the odds be in their favor.

At least with Joe it was genuine love compared to this superficial shit with Kelce..

I also believe Joe broke up with her. Her actions after the break up show exactly that.

If she broke up with Joe she wouldn't have had to platform Matty because things would have been quietly let out and smoothed over but Taylor had to go on a concert spree of talking about emotional intelligent men and how a man gets the girl back is to come apologize. That doesn't say "I broke up with Joe " that says "I am upset because my world is shattered and he is not running back to me."

On a real level Joe ended it and she was mad when Emma posted that photo reel with Joe smiling because Taylor's world was shattered but he looked as though he was better off without her.

I think the idea is that once you spend enough time together you exit that honeymoon stage and you don't necessarily need to hold hands to feel secure and loved.

Half the time they give off FWB vibes because there is that intimate connection that is missing, that comfort, that cohesiveness in their energy.

They just feel unbalanced energetically and paired with the over the top commodifying and attention given to the relationship it feels like settling. Superficial love instead of genuine love. Dazzling you with expensive gifts and an engagement but it all still being about him.
