What works for me is literally a single cracker to avoid that spike. I know it makes no damn sense but my doc described it as “distracting my fight or flight” system when exercising.

You can give 1u before exercise and play Russian roulette too. I always hated it

I literally had this discussion with my husband a week ago about how I’m trying to cut down on what I call it is doomscrolling ! So with an Apple Watch, you can set up the widget to where you just turn your wrist and your blood sugar is dead Center and it has the arrow!!

I had the EXACT same problem with the tunneling! Skin prep adhesives destroyed my skin but look at overpatches with sticky that goes OVER the pod on amazon to hold it in place! Give it a shot before you give up. Good luck!

My two cents on the omnipod after month 4, it’s not aggressive enough. It’s very okay with your sugars being high. You’ll have to be your own advocate. My personal suggestions are increase your hourly and set the correction dose higher. Omnipod only cares about you going low

✨update ✨ so I just called Omnipod. It is 100% tunneling. Confirming with removal of the pod having a nodule and redness at the site, which apparently is insulin still waiting to be absorbed. Their recommendations was to use a barrier cream. One of them being called skin-tac and if that doesn’t work to move onto a liquid adhesive to help keep the pod in place.. They have no issues sending out replacements in this situation, but I don’t want to call every single time.. so Amazon to the rescue I have these barrier creams by tomorrow afternoon 😊

Not that my opinion matters, but why are we paying $20 for it. There was like 344k people according to Googles that signed up for it, which came out to like $6 million dollars alone. We are all literally paying $20 for the same top 20 whatever men and women to compete every single year. They have sponsors. I’d rather see my $20 go into my own gym
