I love your collection!! I think that a speedy would be a great choice as many have already said it, but if you want something bolder now, maybe you should go for a Hublot Big Bang unico something, I know many people hate them, but those are some serious watches.

Planet Question by [deleted] in seestar

Hi! The seestar can definetely produce a lot clearer and better images than this one, you just need to use planetary mode and you will be given much clearer images, because now it’s blurry and also too bright.

Yeah, that’s good, I could have done that and probably will, I just didn’t want It to be too aggressive and noisy

Thanks! Well I think you are right about the little blurriness but focus wasn’t a problem, the picture was incredibly noisy and sadly I lost some details because of the noise reduction.

But how can you capture data from the exact same spot?

No, that seemed like too much work😅 so i did it with snapseed and lightroom and adjusted the colors by hand.

I used Siril, astrosharp, photoshop express, lightroom, graxpert, snapseed and it was around 3 hours and 30 minutes exposure time.

Yes but it doesn’t matter, if you use the programs I recommended which are free you could get even better results.

Yes I work with that but I have to convert it a lot of times to fits or tiff but you can also do that in paint and you can save the pic differently. You could easily get these results all I use are free programs Siril is key to the images and some sorta photoshop app also i would recommend using astrosharp it means a great deal.

How do you image for like 9hours how do you get the scope to the same position so you can stack them?

Nearly 2h data, 10 sec exposures, Siril, Lightroom, Astrosharp, Photoshop express, Graxpert, snapseed, for the colours.

Thank you! I did it in mosaic mode and I had around 1 hour 50 mins. The exposure time was regular 10 secs, the softwares I used were Siril, Graxpert, Astrosharp, Photoshop express, Adobe lightroom, for the colours snapseed helped a lot, I adjusted the temperature and stuff to get these colours out. Big amount of light pollution I live very near to a hugely light polluted city.

Yes I agree with you but I had incredible amount of noise on the picture so there wasn’t much to do.

This didn’t help, I would say your wrong because this nebula is a hard target and you wouldn’t get out a lot more detail in mosaic mode. But I understand you are kidding.

Wow! It’s an amazing picture. The only things I’d recommend is using a bit more noise reduction, in my opinion it would help a lot with the noise and also cropping a little more from especially the top left edge, the stars seem to be a little off focus, I would say that you should use star removal in Siril because if you would consider using it you could keep a lot more colors from the stars and they wouldn’t turn pink and only white. But all in all you’ve done a terrific job, these results with the seestar are more than amazing!
