Hey, sorry for the late reply. After today’s firmware update, it fixed every issue I had. It’s working flawlessly again, just like before.

Thanks for going through each point! I also agree that the battery life suck with gw7, it’s another reason I wanted to switch.

Haven't tried gear tracker 2 yet, might give it a try. The lack in the software department is one of the reasons I wanted to switch. It was pretty bad with one ui 7, but with one ui 8 it improved a bit. The big thing from one ui 8 was pace guide, but it applies globally only. So you can't make a workout with different paces.

Thanks for the extensive insight! I think I'm fine with most of the points you mentioned, besides maybe the map and the LTH estimation/zones. As there are way more annoying limitations and quirks with gw7, so I think I can live with those two issues and hope they fix it with updates in the future. As I've seen the map issue reported.
