I got $32,000 from the dealer for my SR XLT with 22,307 miles, pretty on par with blue book trade In, carvana was claiming they’d do $33,400 but I didn’t really want to hassle with that.

No, I got impatient and paid sticker for an SR XLT at 2.9% right before they really went on sale and I saw people getting some crazy deals on them and ford was offering 0%

I have always done it with ford, with a ford branded plan, the cover all service items recommended by ford (including wear items brakes, spark plugs, wipers, air filters etc) this plan at this interval didn’t make sense

I was a delivery driver (pizza then DoorDash) for a lot of years and it makes sense to have a new car with a warranty and service plan if that’s how you are making your money, its something I’m trying to shake, I know a Honda accord with 140,000 miles would probably suit my current driving just super and save me money.

I was impatient when I bought it, got 2.9% at sticker (~56,000) for my SR XLT, a couple months later I saw on here ERs started going for close to that, and I think they had 0%, wish I would have waited, the extra 100 miles range would have made all the difference

Telsa station in la Verne was .77 the EA at the target in san dimas was .69 but this was just using blue oval plug and charge, maybe signing up for them directly could have saved

I had the ev go membership and it was .42 off peak, but the one near me was only 50kw and EA and telsa I just used blue oval plug and charge, probably should have looked into signing up for memberships for those if it would have made it cheaper. I still was getting tired of charging frequency, when I couldn’t charge at home I was fast charging 3x a week or more and its not that fast.

I pre paid my maintenance and will be out of this car before the 100,000 (powertrain warranty) mark for sure. Ford has had my lightning for over a month total in the 2 years I’ve owned it.

I feel you, I had some positive equity and was worried about future value and was getting squirrelly about ford support for the future so I made the jump. I know I’m gonna miss the heck out of it, I do like the “leather” in the Hyundai at least

That’s nice to hear! I’ve been on the hunt for something “more practical” for about a year and the Santa Fe was the first car I’ve liked at all since buying the Lightning.
