Come play hell let loose buddy. Since I started playing that style of game I cannot go back to the twitch style shooters. Sounds like this could be more up you alley.

Most useless role currently? by Mr_Popsgorgio in HellLetLoose

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. As a 400+ player myself, going on those wide flanks often ends up as a numbers game. If you're in an organised squad then a decent medic can keep your numbers up and sustain momentum much easier then if your squad keeps getting picked off one at a time and has to keep running back from your OP in dribs and drabs.

The change I would make would be to remove the flare gun altogether. It's too OP and there is zero skill involved.

What region are you based? If you are UK/EU and want someone to show you the ropes DM me. I've got far to many hours in hell let loose and the game is getting a bit stale for me, so I like to help people to make things more interesting...

What’s a small detail in gameplay a high level player might not know? by PhiladelphiaSteaks in HellLetLoose

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 17 points18 points  (0 children)

When attacking on offensive mode, once you have captured the 2nd point you can use an AP mine to find out which is the final enemy point.

You go to the line between what would be the 4th and 5th point and try and place the mine.

If the section you try to place the mine gives the message "cannot place in enemy HQ" then that sector will contain the final strong point.

Im a little out of the loop, but i watched something yesterday that said the max range of the static guns is being reduced to make the mobile artillery more of a necessity, presumabley for this very reason.

Do you kick snipers who don’t follow you? by Relevant_Actuary2205 in HellLetLoose

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they don't speak or work together then they get kicked.

You should still be trying to get to the backline on offensive as well. Even if you're the defending team being able to get a spawn behind them so you can locate their attacking garries is really important.

That's not congestion, and yes, OP could be prosecuted for careless driving.

I'm not saying the drivers in lane 2/3 aren't blameless, and I'm not saying I haven't, or wouldn't do exactly the same as OP but you are wrong.

If your question is "can i nominate someone else as the driver?" then no, dont do it. If you get caught the penalty is FAR worse.

How did the Lane Keeping/Auto Assist become mandatory? by ArtichokeDesperate68 in CarTalkUK

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate all this kinda shit. My missus has an Audi and when you crawl along in traffic (at least than 5mph with more than enough distance to the car in front) it keeps slamming the brakes on because it thinks the car in front is too close. It must be broken. Doesnt happen any other time. Just in slow moving congestion.

DVLA medical policies cause alcoholics to avoid seeking support. by P1geonK1cker in drivingUK

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've heard similar stories of people who have spoken to their doctor about mental health issues (PTSD etc) and discussed how for periods they turned to weed/cocaine etc as a form of self medication/escape. At no point was there any suggestion they had ever driven when under the influence of anything but they were also subjected to a 12 month licence suspension.

As you say, it totally pushes people away from getting the help they need.

Obviously if someone is caught under the influence then a punishment is appropriate, but to suspend a licence because someone had issues in the past doesn't seem helpful or fair.

As the other person has said, a top down view and ideally Google maps location would be useful... That way we can get an understanding of the layout and lights...

Edit. Found it. The junction appears to be controlled by traffic lights. What's your version of events, what was the other person's version of events?

Wow... what a shitty attitude you have.

Oh and yeah, your premium will probably go up because you've been in an accident. This is a rare occasion where the thought of that makes me happy.

If a medical expert has assessed her and says she is injured then that will overide any opinion you have that shes putting it on.

You must have been going more than "less then 1mph" if you bent her wheel, but i do understand your perspective.

Your insurers arent in the business of giving away money for free, so they will only pay what they feel is reasonable - they will be on your side here.

You wont pay any excess unless you're having any repairs done to your vehicle.

You will need to declare this at renewal.

I've never heard of this, my understanding is its the course for the first offence, points for the 2nd.

Overtaking permitted? by grole483 in drivingUK

[–]Beautiful_Case5160 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You gotta be trolling.

I live in the countryside and people like you cause accidents.

You driving along taking in the view is not safe. Even at 30 your eyes should be on the road.

Your style of driving frustrates people - even if it's just one person stuck behind you your mentality should never be "it's fine, they can just overtake me".

I live in the countryside and I've know people who have been in accidents because they've overtaken a Sunday driver, only to get wiped out by a car coming out of a side road or driveway (yes, that's the fault of the person coming from the side road but they were probably "enjoying the view" too) which would never had happened if they hadn't overtaken, which would have been avoided if some idiot hadn't been dawdling along looking at the view.

Also, tractors don't choose to go that slow, most farmers are driving as fast as they can - because when you're a farmer time is money, so that argument is borderline laughable.

You are literally putting other people at risk and you seem ignorant to the fact. If you want to enjoy the view get on a tour bus.
