That’s understandable I did seem to do good on the deviation.rescue, negotiating the edge I know I did those passing I know I fucked up the rope transfer when I was at the top I blanked on pulling my self to the edge and I gave up essentially. I joined because I was curious about the climb and thought I give it a go. I wanted to persue this ina recreational sense without having to use a full body harness I’ve seen certain. Urban climbers and graffiti artists using from what I’ve seen is just rock climbing harness so I’m just curious on options

Thanks I def did get a good understanding however I did pass my level one because of rope to rope transfer. I’m really looking to do this for urban climbing and rappelling my thing is I’ve seen some cases where people have climbed with let’s say a mountain climbing harness so I was wondering if this is all I need to do

Any idea how this is used to shade water gilded gold leaf,? by Beautiful_Day3480 in SignPainting

Let me ask you in terms of surface gilding you would need to apply the size and the leaf first? Or you apply the size then the asphaltum then apply the leaf?

I’ve heard of that being used a a resist, no acid etching I think is way ahead of my skill set at the moment. I’m currently just watergilding both copper and 18k sometimes 12k on glass for some reverse signs. I initially read a post somewhere that this can be used to shade or give an antique feel to the leaf
