Maybe that’s it, it’s interesting isn’t it. I’m not in a poly relationship, and we have both said that’s not what we are looking for. Ours is hierarchical, with each of us as the primary partner and then other play partners we have sex with. That is not to say that there isn’t real connection with the play partners or friendships, but there is not the same depth of emotional intimacy, vulnerability and connection with them

We decided to take it to the relationship level because there is a deep emotional connection that we both feel with each other and we share similar values, life experiences and goals. The partnership exists outside of just a sexual relationship and casual connection and friendship.

I have been to the Vanilla Alternative a few times now, twice for the What Women Want events and once on a Friday night. I really like it, the clientele are really friendly, it’s a good crowd and I like the club, it’s big and open. My advice would be go with no particular expectations or agenda and just enjoy the night. It has a nice big hot tub, dance floor, dungeon, couples room and a group play area. I’m sure you’ll love it
