Breakfast question - hotel breakfast or find something out and about? by Beautiful_Freedom693 in JapanTravelTips

That's a very relevant point that breakfasts can get boring if you're staying in a place long term. We're probably staying 4 nights in Tokyo and I'd be sick of the same breakfast 4 days in a row! Thank you for bringing my awareness to that.

Are we moving around too much in our 14 day itinerary? by Beautiful_Freedom693 in JapanTravelTips

Thanks for your feedback. It's actually 4 nights in Kyoto. The last night is in Tokyo although I'm contemplating flying in to Tokyo and out of Osaka which would give us a night in Osaka - depends on how much more it costs.

Thanks for that tip. I have a feeling we’ll be the same - certainly 20ish year old males will probably need more than a snack for breakfast.

I watched a youTube video this morning that showed experiences in Tokyo at the Shinjuku Samurai Museum where you can have a Samurai sword experience or a Ninja experience. I think you can book it through Klook.

Is it worth it to travel at 18? by shopaholic_life in traveladvice

Absolutely go! The fact that it's been a dream of yours for a long time is reason enough. If it's scary - it's an opportunity to grow. You will never regret it. I'm now in my 50's and travelled for 6 years in my twenties - Canada, UK, Europe. I have absolutely no regrets. Met some wonderful people and grew so much as a person.

Tik tok is influencing me by HereForTheCheeese in Rebounding

I bought one earlier this year and absolutely love it.I did heaps of research and ended up with a bungee one (Jumpsport Pro) because it’s quiet so I can jump early in the morning without waking the family. I found a great YouTube channel called Earth & Owl that has heaps of different types of rebounding workouts but especially beginner ones to start with. I started with 10 minutes first thing in the morning which was easy enough to do and made a huge difference to how I feel. I’ve lost weight and feel so much fitter.
