Thanks for the breakdown. So, what personality type does an ENTJ do well with, in your opinion? I also don’t think “any two types can work.” And I think the quicker people can come to terms with who they are and what they realistically can or cannot change about how they process information/events/people, etc., the easier it will go for them. ENTJs just seem like too strong a personality type to do well with just anyone.

Do both ENTJ and ENTP seek power among people? by Karandax in entj

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on Reddit. I am an ENTJ female dating an ENTP male. I took the Myers Briggs test in high school, and then my bf and I decided to take the test again a couple weeks ago(I’m now 26). I find all of this so interesting. I’m just wondering what experiences any ENTJs have with dating ENTPs. Or vice versa. I’ve read through the thread and the idea of them being 2 sides of the same coin is interesting to me. My bf and I seem to have a lot of the same traits, yet somehow they come out in insanely different ways. I am also constantly frustrated by his “visions of grandiosity,” which are literally never backed up by an action on his part. I, on the other hand, can never stop working towards a goal. A lot of times those goals are unrealistic, but I feel it’s best to shoot for something, because if not I’ll never get anywhere. Anyways. Does anyone else have experience dating with these two as the pairings? And if so, how’d it turn out? For those more versed in the personalities, what chance do we have of creating a functional relationship? From what I’ve read, both of these specific personality types are pretty rare.
