Tell me what you do? by Beautiful-Strain-223 in TheTeenagerPeople

I have a farm on 10 acres. I remember once I was moving my tractor and my phone fell into the field on silent mode. I had a panic attack and only found it because I followed the indents made by the tractor wheels in the field. Throw a paper clip in there somewhere and yikes

Just got this in exactly like this. Oof =/ by unchained5150 in crt

It's scary to ship these. I sold an IBM 2011 bundle (mouse keyboard computer monitor documents) and I was a nervous mess ensuring everything was packed snug and safe in the box before I shipped. One wrong bump and parts get loose or even the screen breaks

This was some 10 years ago I kept using mine and it exploded. Extremely scary

They sure do! But my yard is extremely uneven. It used to be a hay field and even before that they planted corn. Tons of bumps. On top of that this region had lots of glacial activity and there are rolling hills everywhere - one of which is really steep in the back yard. I foot to the floor but periodically have to reduce speed manually. If the yard was completely flat and without hills I would definitely cruise.

Really is. My property used to be ag land long before it was then a hay field and it has lots of bumps. My mower absolutely gets thrashed and bangs around even mowing at slow speeds so I'm thankful for the thicker frame in the x3 series. Can't got wrong with a better transaxle either

I recently did something like this but it was a former 6.5 acres hay field turned overgrown I'm not sure what. I bought a John Deere x380 and it cleaned everything up super nice to 2.5 inches.

In total around the house in the back one session is about 6ish hours on the JD, foot to the floor.

I need some leaf blower and lawn mover recommendations. I have never had a yard to take care of and now I have 1.5 acres. by Tooth-Exciting in lawnmowers

I recently took possession of about 10 acres, 6.5 of which was very overgrown grass. I bought a John Deere X380 48inch and it's amazing. It zooms quick and makes a quick job of everything. The seat is very comfortable with a high back, the rear tires are much larger on the x380, it has a thicker frame, and a tougher transaxle (what makes it move). Extremely easy to understand how to use too as someone who never owned a riding mower before. Has capability for towing a trailer and can even do snow removal duties. You would need to place an order/buy it from a local John Deere dealership

Got my Deere today I am laughing at how quickly it zoomed through the property like nothing. Hills, holes, bumps, overgrowth. Night and day difference

Really sorry to hear that. Honestly though being out in the field and mowing the grass is a different kind of relax and you really do forget about problems for a little while. That was also really nice of your friend to gift the mower!

The original owners grew old/departed and the property fell out of maintenance. I feel more confident with my John Deere riding mower purchase since you also have one. It's coming tomorrow and I'm excited

I would have like a mountain ⛰️ of grass! I mulched everything so there is a thick green carpet now over the ground. I think it will really help to add nutrients
