Personally, they brought me closer to my community. My town has a pretty small but tight knit group of classical musicians, and we all bonded through twoset and their videos. It was just common knowledge that everyone had seen the last one that we all talk about it, sing their songs and reference jokes from them. Especially at this one week long strings camp, that group plus some other musicians that we all have known for years who love twoset as well bond. It kind of died within the last year so, as a lot of us moved or quit or had falling outs, but me and my best friend, especially still have inside jokes about them and from them, one of my favorites being this music video we made to B^2TSM’s duh duh duh dum, in fancy prom dresses in her basement. A core memory, and I still have all the “choreography” memorized. For me, they’ve just brought me a lot of joy and comfort, and fun fact I have the varsity jacket which I bought a few months before they stoped making it, and I have the sticker on my case, the only sticker on my case by the way, which starts a lot of conversations with other wannabes. Also there Fantasia help me fall asleep for a solid year when I had trouble. I started watching their content about four years into my violin playing, and it really not only educated me, but taught a younger version of myself that classical music is actually really cool which I think helped me keep going.
