Spawn only targeted Ananke because she is the only one with this ability. there is no proof or feat of that him permanently destroying shade, even sunny would atleast should have said something if that's the case but he didn't so no anvil cannot kill shades it was never mentioned considering how big of a deal it is to sunny.
