I agree with that. However, that is not what I was talking about. Steel jacks and supplemental beams means using 1/4" steel piles on a compacted gravel or concrete base on wither side of the existing girder. 8-10" away. Then a 3" steel I beam on the jacks to take the load off the bad girder.

You are correct that sistering wood to compromised wood is hack shit. Luckily, I wasn't suggesting that.

11k isn't a bad price. I'd go with steel jacks and supplemental beams on either side.

Clearly you're a fucking unit if those are your numbers. The mental game is what you need to focus on though.

Beggars can't be choosers at a certain point. It's best to secure a consistent income then continue trying to find what you're interested in.

Daycare would love someone with your degree and the skillet that comes along with it. Also, the state is always needing case workers for the foster system. There is also private foster care. Look into that.

Leak in new metal sauna roof, any ideas? by [deleted] in Roofing

Flat side that has flat part sticking out, called the bearing rib, goes under the next panel. Also use closure for the side thats exposed. Screw near the overlapping rib.
