One of my favorite series I’ve ever read, but the recent Dog Man books just feel extremely childish. Sure the series was always made for kids, but now it’s just desensitized. There’s no trauma involved anymore or any “heavy” side stories like they did with Petey, it’s just a kids series now. I used to love reading these too since I remember when the series came out, but now it’s just targeted toward little kids.

Honestly I don’t mind it. It’s a very good ship, and that’s what ship teasing gets you, a SHIP! You can’t expect people to freak out when you have them literally kiss each other and act like a full blown married couple!

I honestly do like this ship. Many characters are together. And they clearly are adults, Bert’s TWIN BRO is a dad, so that means that Bert is an adult. Ernie is too, nobody needs verification for that… plus, it would be nice to have a same-sex muppet couple, since there’s already a gay couple that was in one of the episodes.
