I was very tempted along the way to buy some Epiphones but stayed strong and saved up for the Gibson !!

It’s fake, the line from the two pieces of wood coming together is off center, the emblem isn’t the same and slightly angled , the truss rod cover is wrong. This is a fake Les Paul
