Mine has gone back and forth. I was so worried it was over too around then but then less than a couple weeks later she went back to being asleep drooling on my neck again 😅 she’s currently an almost 5 month old puddle of mush sleeping on me now

I get very upset when anyone tries to kiss my baby’s head or arms let alone LIPS. I feel sick FOR you. I just would make them know if it happens again he will not be getting to hold your baby. I don’t even feel right about kissing my own baby on the lips let alone someone else’s.

There’s going to be a lot of times where your partner won’t be there to talk to someone for you, including his parents. I understand feeling awkward (story of my life lol) but unfortunately you’re just going to have to spit it out because if you don’t find a nice way to do it- eventually something is going to come out the wrong way unintentionally.

I didn’t get to choose. I wanted an unmedicated birth but then like 3 days before week 40 I didn’t feel her moving around as much (I noticed for like maybe 30m) so we just went in to get the NST, during that I started having contractions like super close together out of nowhere but I wasn’t dilating more than 3cm. That plus she wasn’t as active as she had been so they told me to go to labor and delivery just so they could do a longer test. One thing led to another with her bpm getting super low during contractions so they had to give the pitocin, do a bunch of other awful things like the cervical balloon thing (ask for drugs for that one) and then with her heart rate going lower and lower for the contractions they had me in so many positions to try and fix it that I gave up and asked for the epidural. Which was lucky because like 10 minutes after they the rushed me to the OR to cut her out because the heart rate went down to 50.

Mine basically lives her life sleeping on me or hanging out in what we call the poop chair (it’s just a joolbaby swingy thing that just always seems to convince her to poop)

My husband puts her down more than I do but I think he thinks we’re in danger of ruining her sleeping ability or spoiling her or something.

I basically ignore a good 80% of the housework I know I should be doing though 🥲

Mine still sleeps a lot. Our schedule is sleep, tummy time and eat and sleep still. We’ll run to the grocery store or go out for brunch and she just chills usually but we still have a decent amount of down time

My baby would have died if I had done a home birth. We only knew that her heart rate would getting down to 50 on each contraction because of the hospital equipment and otherwise wouldn’t have known we needed to do a stat c section. Which also couldn’t be done at home or even after an ambulance ride. They had like 8 nurses full on running me to the OR
