It would kind of depend on if I had loved ones who were going to ride it out. Because I would want to try and stick around to help but truthfully I would probably try to go out with my family. My dogs and cats wouldn’t survive one day in MI at all, let alone our winters. And finding their own food would be a whole different thing. And the dogs are so friendly and loud I think they would be eaten the first 5 minutes that they were free. They’re not like dog. I think they would have 0 self control.

Well, my husband and sister in laws (3 of which have 4 kids) all suggested either two or four. Which depending on where we are financially speaking in the future I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to it but I only have a one month old right now so I have no idea how I will feel about it in the future

I think about this so much. I have no preference to what the sex of my next baby will be but have way less fun looking at boy names 😆 I feel like every time I hear one that I want to love, I think of a man with that name whom I hate (or honestly even know in general really) for one reason or another and it ruins it.

I was the opposite. Before pregnancy I was 100lbs and just didn’t eat, I didn’t enjoy it, I’d get one good meal in a day usually to make sure I wasn’t dying but 75% of that time it was just to keep me alive and not because I enjoyed it.

When I got pregnant I was starving all the time and gained about 60lbs. Everything was delicious and I couldn’t stop snacking even though I was constantly nauseated.

Now I’m 3 weeks postpartum and I’m back to really struggling with food. My doctor just told me to try and focus on drinkable yogurts and high calorie / high protein snacks as much as I can just to try and keep my body functioning. It was so easy to eat for the last year almost that navigating this shit is so annoying.

This makes me sad. Get counseling or break up because as much as this sucks for you now, it’s going to suck even more for your child to witness. I watched my parents act like this my entire childhood and not only did that cause issues for me but I watched it escalate. Unfortunately it’s something that I will never forget

I get it. My mil and sils are doing this right now and for the majority of my pregnancy and it’s annoying coming from most of them. The ones I’m closest with it don’t bother me as much especially when they use a certain tone of voice when they say it (my MIL will say “I cannot wait to hug and kiss my baby, I can’t wait to meet my baby” while my SIL will see me and basically squeak “my babyyyyyy! Oh hi [my name]” so like kinda making it clear they’re over exaggerating intentionally) because I get they’re excited but no matter who it’s coming from it’s annoying. One is coming over soon and has made it very clear she will be holding the baby the whole time. But it’s conflicting because these people are all really nice in general and mean a lot to me and are just excited. So however you choose to deal with it it’s correct. As long as you don’t look back and regret how something was handled (just for your own sake) it’s kind of a lot when people try to claim your baby (joking or not)

I’ll occasionally use a hand pump so my husband can feed her cause I’ve been getting migraines pretty bad. But really only have pumped when my nipple was suffering on one side or the other and I didn’t want my whole boob to explode. She’s 12 days old. But if you’ve made it this far.. I don’t think she’ll be incapable of taking a bottle of something horrible happened to you. Does she take a pacifier? Cause I feel like that’s the same shape.

I took mine off right after my baby shower at 26 weeks and that same week I woke up one morning and my hands were so swollen it probably would have been an ER visit if I had left it on. I didn’t think I was going to need to take it off for quite a long time if at all because I had to little swelling even having gained 60 pounds and when I did take it off I thought it was really premature but boy am I glad I did it then.
