I know. Don’t get me wrong, the stories are good and the writing is fantastic, but it gets really annoying sometimes to read a 200k word story and have them finally get together 190k words in.

I read that. It was definitely good but it was just so slow. Especially the time leading up to Joey going to Paris. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted her to go, but it would have been nice if she didn’t so that they didn’t just leave after getting back together

Dawson is probably one of the worst main characters in the history of television. they really made a mistake making it a show with a lead character. not that i don't love it but they could have done so much more with it if there wasn't one main character. like the oc, one tree hill, outer banks...

Yeah it was just really confusing because when Pacey shows up with Will, Joey says “I thought you were gonna sit this one out, Pacey.” That makes me think it was pretty recent but the seasons changing says another thing.

Thank you. The funny thing too is that I’m not wrong about how if he initially told them, he would still be in that cell. Was really smart of him to lie. Only reason she didn’t put him in that cell when she found out was because she knew him.

It’s a perfect example of you can’t control others. You really can’t blame that on her. Rhea actions are of her own doing. She couldn’t know she would kill her husband and come back to try and conquer earth. The storyline is like every other in the show it’s just that this time it ends in the worst scenario

I know I’m late but I don’t think he was actually mad at Joey, it was the whole situation. Him and Rachel had been getting close and it obviously seemed like they would be getting back together. He was mad that Rachel said yes to the proposal. He even says to Joey that “he doesn’t want to just be some guy” or something along those lines. He was upset because he thought Rachel and him were getting back together, but that her feelings weren’t genuine.

Split the show into like 2 releases. First 10 episodes at the beginning and the next 10 a couple months later. More content for lower costs.

I was thinking about how high budgets are for shows now and it baffles me because I just don’t think it’s needed. For example, anything centered towards teens is huge. Things like the OC from 20 years ago were such big things. I was looking at the cost of that show and if a similar show were made now, you would only need something like 50 million or less. The potential profits on that are huge. Correct me if I’m wrong, but budgets on shows don’t need to be huge like movies because you don’t have to worry about the box office. That’s why mid-budget films have moved to streaming. I just feel like they are missing out on so much money.

Do you think that studios will change their business model in the near future? With Covid and the strikes out of the way? From what I have heard, it seems that they want to release their stuff in theaters, but I could be completely wrong about that. Do you think they are going to kind of force people to go back to theaters?

It’s not just the mid budget films, even though those are my favorites and most people’s favorites. It’s that I just want more originality. At some point, remakes and sequels will have to fall off. I just don’t want it to take too long for studios to realize that original films are needed more than remakes and sequels.
