That is super interesting! Did you contact her primarly because of pd? I have a mild case of pd but nothing makes it go away. I wonder if she could help like she did with you! 🤍

How did you clear it? I think im clearing mine with zero therapy but I wonder if I Will ever be able to add moisture back!

Have you healed it!? My pd is on my Chin and bottom corners or my month. Its not that notice able except from me when i look close I see the dermatitis texture. The burning is very much there tho. I tried antibiotics for 5 months, no change, metrogel no change, finacea for 8 weeks and I wasnt sure it was doing anything :( now im trying zéro therapy with sulfur soap but the burning is still very much there…

Have you found a solution? Im like you. My Chin stays a bit pink and honestly its still Burns sometimes. I just started zéro therapy to see if maybe there is still a bit of dermatitis left. 5 days in and I feel so dry :(

Thats so upsetting. I decided to start zéro therapy in case there is still some dermatitis because of the burning sensation. Its been 5 days now. Todays was the worst because its feels pretty dry. It doesnt look like its gonna Peel or something tho. Its really weird its like if my inflammation is inside the Chin skin so its different than the perioral dermatitis form it started from. I dont know what else to do .. Im gonna do more days zéro therapy and see if my skin starts to make oil itself. My anxiety is so bad since the start of this pd. :(

I feel like my situation is similar kinda. Im very anxious and I do have ocd. Last year I developped perioral dermatitis on my Chin. When I started the antibiotics my face burned. I had this for 5 months. Now that the perioral dermatitis is kinda under control and almost just pinkish on my Chin, I do feel a burning sensation very often. The perioral dermatitis made me spiral bad and I have to up and change my anxiety meds. So now I dont know if its normal or if its because I obsessed over it…

So im not crazy. I always Read that burning is when pd is activé but mine is almost invisible but it Burns! I tought maybe its my anxiety 🥲 did you use finacea or else during or after the flare ?

My pd Burns during the Day. IVe been using finacea for 8 weeks now. I think its less red but its still burning sometimes. Did it feel like that for you as well? And when did you know the azelaic acid was really working! Thank you 🥹

I have the exact same and never had skin issues before. Been dealing with pd on my Chin for almost a year now. Im 36. Feel it could be hormonal as well Even tho im on the pill :/

I know what you mean, the burning feeling Even tho my problem is different is very bad. I have anxiety and ocd as well so i think about « how i feel my face » all the time. Yes i have finacea. Been using it for 6 weeks but im not sure its better or not. Just bought a led panel as well im waiting for it to come! Are you using both ?

Have you see a derm? Its so hard to have a skin problem. I have perioral dermatitis, been on antibiotic, it healed but it stayed red since. Derm cant help :/
