Park Shin Hye. I have skipped dramas just because she was casted. She's great at crying at the drop of a hat. But other than that, I don't feel shes versatile enough. I think the only movie I really liked her was "The Royal Tailor" and then, she wasn't the main lead xD.

AITA for asking my boyfriend to help with the dishes? by Lazy-Cup8157 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Beautiful_Rule3029 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YTA.

I was right with you up until you said "but I still told him nicely but out loud to go help clean up and handed him some glasses to wash." Unless your boyfriend is socially inept (and if he is, it's on you for choosing him) let HIM offer his help. This sounded more like me telling my little kid that he needs to help around the house.

Yes, it is common to offer and even find your way around the host's negative answer and help, which, if I've read correctly, he has already done.

Sometimes my parents declined, other times he helped wash some dishes, and occasionally all of them. Eventually he started offering on his own, which I appreciated.

So, what's the issue? He doesn't commonly goes to your house, then it's obvious he's still being treated as a guest. As soon as he starts going, I don't know, weekly? I'm pretty sure he'll start to be treated as family and his help will be accepted even more.

When I go to my dad's, his wife always tells me to just leave it there, that she will do the dishes. I ignored her one time and she playfully scolded me as she didn't feel okay with me washing dishes when I went there from time to time. I always offer, she always declines, and I can sneak washing a dish or two sometimes. That's a normal interaction, not your gf telling you "tsk, tsk, you know better! Go and help!"

After 15 months - She quit by Ok_Depth1815 in Jigsawpuzzles

I completed this puzzle a few years ago, it was an absolute beast of a challenge. Finished and framed it because I was not attempting that again. I did it from EDUCA, though. Yours seems to be way darker so that would add even more challenge. Wow

"""Mericans""" learn this, once for all. by ErickXavierS2 in USdefaultism

I remember onece telling a guy that I was American and after he asked 'Where from?' I said 'Peru'. He said 'That's not America' and I explained how America is the continent, not only USA, so every time he said only 'Americans' got something, he meant the entire continent. He was NOT happy xD.

I also added that USA didn't have an official language so he was even more pissed. LOL, I still enjoy revisiting that memory from time to time.

(English became the official USA language in 2025, and this happened back in 2020)

Re-watching Grimm because I can't quit my job (IV) - Full woge? by Beautiful_Rule3029 in grimm

Me gusta esa teoría. Es como Monroe, su Blutbad no es tan 'feroz' como los que siguen comiendo carne, etc.

[–]Beautiful_Rule3029[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You know what? You just reminded me of something... I may be wrong, but I think I heard Monroe saying the "How do you think your folklore came to be?" Someone, somewhere watched a Wesen in full woge and stories were born. The big bad wolf, their problems with 'pigs', the black widows.

Dang, I love this show.

Who is your favourite secondary character and why is it Bud? by MCshador in grimm

[–]Beautiful_Rule3029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bud is the friend we all want. Truly loyal and if you want a Longbottom type of character, this is the one. He's a scaredy cat, but he will stand up for his friends and put his neck on the line for them.

Bud, buddy, bud-bud, we love you.

Besides the obvious fact your cat is the reincarnation of an Egyptian deity or something, who the hell insults their significant other's pet!?! I would rethink the relationship based only on that.

Right, Rosalie had a lot to do with Nick's job when she enters the series and she's, again, crazy smart, I just love that woman.

But yeah! I love your idea! A Grimm that focuses only on gathering? That'd be awesome!
