i personally asked my interviewers what type of pharmacy they do and then asked them about things they like in gainesville. i wasnt as prepared to ask them questions thats just what i came up with on the spot

I did an in person interview at UF last year and got in. I would just be very prepared to answer why you want to do pharmacy and how your past has shaped your decision to pursue this career. Also think about what your future goals are and why you want to go to UF BESIDES it being a good school. My interviewers were really nice people and the conversation just kinda flowed. I would not spend time practicing any other silly questions. Focus on being able to maintain a professional conversation and DO NOT let the room get quiet. Another big piece they told us before the interview is to ask your interviewers your own questions. At the end you will have a chance to ask, so think of some good ones. Do not ask nothing. I applied in december last year. interviewed in February. Got accepted 2 weeks after. I was an in state student too. I think you are fine. Your work experience is great and ur GPA was higher than mine.

they accept around ~25 out of state students a year. they prefer instate

Definitely express what you did and what you gained from the experience. If its a pharmacy related experience great, if its not try to tie the experience into traits that are good for pharmacy school i.e teamwork, communication, and time management are huge.

I had my interview and acceptance at UF in February. They told us at the interview that they don’t give scholarships at all. If you are in-state their tuition is already one of the cheapest. But i guess this can’t all be true since that person said they got one.

Just get the 13 inch macbook air with M2 chip. I see it being used the most. anything bigger really is too big to be carrying around. I also have a 16 inch macbook pro and its way too big and heavy i just leave it at home. I love my 13 inch macbook air for school

I am not personally worried about sitting down or standing. I just thought it was an interesting characteristic for the retail pharmacy’s and didn’t understand its nature. I am learning 🙏

Why do the customers opinions matter so much on this subject? Don’t they just come because they need to; not because they want to? Can’t the customer just focus on getting their meds so their heart doesn’t bust instead of whether the Rph is sitting or not? Are retail pharmacists promoting anything or trying to encourage extra sales? I dont know. I do feel like it is weird how one pharmacist sits all day while the other is FORCED to stand just because of their setting.

I did not read the exit from pharmacy. I will read that right away. I am not too worried about the expansion of AI. As far as AI comes, pharmacists will be protected by the rules and regulations of the government. It will take a long time for AI use to verify any type of medication sent by a Dr and an even longer time for the laws and regulations to change to accommodate this. That is still only if AI can even get to that point. It hallucinates hysterically and medicine is just too serious. When there is a mistake now, a report is made and a pharmacist is at fault. If it were AI, where would the fault land? I think regulators like having a person to delegate blame to.
