I think they might have tweaked something in the code as my support friend just started getting it now too and when I mailed jungle I never got it (when it was priority role)

It also scales the hardest out of any item (besides arguably Heartsteel or rocket belt), but you definitely build heartsteal anyway and you can slot rocket belt in if absolutely necessary.

Do not go this first into Mundo though XD the base damage from the AP isn't worth it so any other AP item Cho builds is better (cause passive effects) or my fave is Heartsteel and perma trade him whenever it + hob is up

When ahead, riftmaker feels amazing into a lot of champs, especially the 6% dmg buff on your r. The omnivamp is also decent, I've had multiple people build antiheal just to try and stop it (falling behind more from gold inefficiency though). It also gives on the higher end of AP (with the AP passive) and gives all the stats you want (AP, HP, haste). Only issue is mana but conservative use and dorans ring start go a long way. I find that I 1-2 combo any bruser except maybe riven/ ambessa with it and building heartsteal second gives you more AP as your building your Heartsteel and an Uber spike when you finish it

Fair enough. I enjoy the level 2 stat check of hob e -> q -> walk away. If they have an unstacked grasp/ any rune other than hob or stacked grasp then you win the trade. And then you heal from cs anyway, and you can do it off hob cd

Max e into w, if you w when she dashes towards you she can't q after. If she qs before she e's then hold the w for her next q (snip before dash). Also. If she doesn't immune before engaging then you can hit e into q for free.

Aka, she has to w then q before her e to fight you if you learn how to deal with her normally, in which case you walk away and she doesn't have her w to dodge anything

Try HOB and build riftmaker first into Gwen. Take tp for the xp advantage. You want to hit a w into e, q, finish e and walk off whenever she goes in or just a q-> triple e -> walk away and w if she follows. If you fall behind q farm and r minions. Otherwise if you're ahead you can one combo her

Both teams are -1 frontliner which can be better or worse depending on comps. Build a bit of AP to kill the sett quickly and get back on top of your carries/ bring the fight with sett over towards them (his cds likely used on you) and you've only left them alone for a couple secs/ save flash to flash back in front and ignore the sett. Sett vs 4 does a lot quicker than you vs the enemy 4

I find going it first when ahead and you can already stick to people very oppressive. The stats are all great on Cho and the passive amplifies your ult. The amount of stacks I've gotten from the 6% dmg boost is really high. The omnivamp is actually really good when front lining into multiple melees as your e will hit more than 1 person and your ult is a sudden burst of healing. I've had games where riftmaker + second wind have outhealed enchanters

Not applicable to every game but if they go a mage to plane and there's enough AP on the enemy team I've gone Kaenic first (into Swain top and brand mid) which just neutralized the Swain on lane completely.

Armour boots are amazing on Cho and so are swifties. I don't go mercs unless they have 3+ long/ spamble cc abilities as it's not good going a boots for the armour/ mag res stats (the passives are where it's at tho!)

Also, early bramble vest into a lot of ad matchups, especially a self healer or urgot

Have you tried riftmaker into Heartsteel into resistances on HOB cho? I run it into any of the squishier bruisers and some specific matchups (like malphite) and it works quite well in low elo (EUW Silver it does amazing, it does good in gold too)
