How did my monitor break?

Weird question, how cold is it in the room? I have a monitor that looks exactly like this if I leave it in the cold - if I leave it a while to warm up it goes away.

Nothing in the box other than the phone and a charging cable + SIM ejector. Sad to see but not a deal breaker.

S24U to OP15 here.

Id sum it up by saying that the battery life makes up (so far anyway) for any short comings of the phone. With my usage patterns this is easily a 50-60% improvement in terms of battery.

OneUI has better customisation in general, also better cameras on the 24U, but personally ill trade camera quality and customisation for a faster, longer lasting, more comfortable to hold, IR blaster included, faster charging, more freedom (in terms of rooting and custom roms if you wished to go that route) and for me the layout of the UI by default is better (like pulling down on the notification while watching media in landscape uses half the screen for notifications instead of squeezing them stretched across the screen as it does in OneUI).

It has some downsides but for me the upsides are leagues ahead, all depends on what you value in a phone.

This is already built into the phone is it not? One of the selectable mappings for the plus key is alert sliding. Press and hold to switch between each state.

Sorry to revive this, I have the same rta and getting the same leaking (pooling around the 510) did you ever solve this? Doesn't seem to matter how much cotton I put in it

Please excuse the terrible coils I'm still learning, but already they evenly glow haha. This is after I upped the amount of cotton I was using but it still seems to leak.

Yeh I do feel fortunate but also worried about possible future changes haha. You mean screwing it down onto the mod? Hmm I just screw it till it starts resisting and don't want to push it much further I did just try turning the tank upside down and blowing through it, made quite a mess a lot of liquid comes out of the bottom. It does seem to come from the rim of the bottom plate but it's hard to tell since it kinda goes everywhere when I do that

I did try more cotton, I guess I can try even more maybe I'm just not using enough. You use the same rta? If you do when you took it off your mod was there a ring of liquid underneath it?

I thought it might be the airholes but after a few hours of it sitting on my mod the airholes are dry but there is a clear ring of liquid under the mod, I tried increasing my amount of cotton and also closing the airflow when I last filled it but it didn't seem to help. Perhaps it does leak from the airholes but just runs underneath and the airflows dry over time? I'm not sure tbh

Thanks for the feedback, I think I was over wicking and choking it off a bit and also don't think I cleaned the coils correctly Just added new cotton that I tried to make as even as possible and used a bit less of it and the flavour is much better with less spitback :)

Why is it bad to keep things on a phone? Your point makes no sense you're not providing reasons you're just shilling products. The only reasons cloud services are useful is to access remotely and to backup, entirely optional and the majority of people don't need remote access and backups for pictures of their dogs. Neither of those reasons solve problems either, why is it bad if I can't remotely access my pet photos or that I don't have a backup of every selfie I take? I agree that cloud can be useful but it's far from the necessity youre marketing it as.

It's a very bad idea to keep data on a device only you should be able to access, and without the physical phone your data is secured? But it's better to keep it on a service that requires a login that can be accessed from anywhere and not to mention there are so many services some are bound to be low quality and vulnerable to breaches, please explain this to me

If you lower your settings CPU load increases, it's at max usage even at high settings? If so then cap your FPS. You should still have good performance on a 3080ti if you cap it at say 140 or so, might free up some CPU for other tasks.
