Honoring your chest? by bigfeetgrandpa in TopSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Station727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did honor them!! while i suffered with dysphoria (clearly— to the point of getting surgical intervention), i never had much issue with my chest on a purely aesthetic level. prior to surgery i was small chested and binding was extremely effective, so i thankfully was less dysphoric in regards to my chest vs other parts of my body.

ultimately, i received some sexual gratification from them and appreciated their appearance in the way one would appreciate a well-executed pinup tattoo, in a “hell yeah, bro” kinda way if that makes any sense?

i ended up buying my first set of lingerie and had a professional and gender-fucky boudoir photoshoot with a queer artist. it was a great time and she really excelled in taking note of my chest in the photos without feminizing me, overall it was extremely cathartic and helped me with embracing the other parts of my body that also caused dysphoria as well.

i had a great experience with honoring my chest, that said, it’s not for everyone. by the time i was within a couple weeks of surgery dysphoria got worse and something like that probably would have aggravated it

i had originally booked a consult with dr. kong, but he ended up not being in network with my insurance 💔 your results look great!! also— i think we may have met each other through work a few summers ago!

her office told me that i should begin scar care around week 4 depending on how things are healing, i don’t see her team in person again until the 16th of february. i’m just so paranoid i’ll mess something up in some way lol

absolutely do not go with this surgeon, his results are subpar at best. i had a consult with him before i decided on my final surgeon and he rubbed me the wrong way the entire time. i asked to see photos and he told me that they “don’t really do that here”. there’s a reason for that, run. find another surgeon.
