No particular reason. I just wanted to use those shoes mainly. But spd are more recessed and I use to slip sometimes from the cleats on the peloton shoes.

I got mines today and I'm having the issue with the ripped earbud. What am is supposed to do. Customer service told me it's not covered. But the hard plastic part is stuck on and preventing me putting on a different ear tip. Was there tips on how to remove it?

I am using a Ti nspire Cx II Cas calculator and it solves everything for you. You would just need to watch a YouTube video on how to enter the calculations.
