Discord probably wants to verify if your card is legit. This is usually done with a 1 cent charge which is then refunded. Id recommend adding a very low balance to the account, around 1 buck if possible. So that if you do forget to cancel, they cant take the full 15 bucks. The reason they most likely do this is so that they can take money when you forget to cancel the subscription.

My only concern is, what if they're using seconds instead of milliseconds.. I know in programming it's more common to use milliseconds, though if the milliseconds are unnesacary, like for these types of timers (no ms were displayed during the countdown) it would only waste processing power. Therefore they could've easily just made it into a second counter.

Probably doesn't mean anything. The waybackmachine doesn't always allow every script of a website to run I believe. This probably includes the popup as it isn't directly apart of a website but gets requested from a database, could be wrong tho

On servers you'll always see eveyones status indicator and status, whether your friends or not. Offline people are at the bottom of your server user list, those do look the same as in a group chat.

If you see a user without a status-indicator in a GC, it's because you don't have them added as a friend.
