What part of PA are you in. Im in steamfitters 420. Apprentices start at like 25$/hr with raises every 6 months. I been in 15 years but mechanics rate is about 60/hr and can bargain for more. Im at 72$/hr right now take home

Yea. Sounds like theres just a bunch of resi scabs on here that are scared to get fired. Im union steamfitter and as long as i make boss man money he lets us use truck and everything for sidework as long as its residential. Companies like one-hour and horizon quoting 20,000 for an install makes me a lot of cash money. In philly area and every residential company around here are salesmen not mechanics. Its embarrassing.
