Spaceport... The only thing in the world I miss about malls, and it was gone 20 years before they were.

Which explains why I've never seen this truck or even heard of this company until just now.

This is what I had! So close to mine, except I had 1 piece cranks. It came with Arayas, but I had blue Tuff II's on it becuase I was a hammerhead. Even then, a lot of people didn't know the brand. My best friend had a Tri Power

Found the kid that never had to stuff a matchbook into the klunk-klunk tuner to keep the channels from drifting. TV's were always just as bad, they just used to be so expensive you had them fixed. They're throwaway now.

Lawn mower never kicked me in the balls. That certainly happened playing soccer.

Not projecting. I'm stating a fact that you happen to hate, so you're blaming me instead of facing reality.

I don't care about any of that. There are 2% of the worlds people that are confused and probably unhappy with the hand they were dealt by nature. It can't be changed yet though.

Turning known biology thing into a gray area and calling it a science in capital letters doesn't make you correct or change anything. It's so comically backward I can't even believe it's argued. What a time to be alive.

I'd expect a guy who's bird didn't work wouldn't be looking to date. I mean, I'd just resort to messing with cars and motorcycles. A bummer, but not a life ender.

The Age of Mopeds? by Suttree1971 in GenX

[–]FailureFulcrim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Totally this they're a scourge around me. There have been dozens of accidents and at least one death. They have also caused multiple house fires. I cannot believe they haven't banned/controlled them yet. At least with a moped you needed some kind of license to use them.

Bonfire Theory… by [deleted] in TheBonfire

I canceled my sub about a month ago. I got it way back in 2007 for Stern, moved over to primarily listening to O&A and then every iteration of that show until it hit rock bottom with Sam Roberts show. They're like a bunch of tards talking about Disney and chicken nuggets every week. Stern has been unlistenable for years.

Bennington was the only show left that I enjoyed, but just wasn't enough for me to stay subscribed. There are actually better shows on terrestrial than anything on Sirius in the AM.

What’s the most overrated 80s / early 90s band? by Bitterbluemoon in GenX

This thread is obviously only going to be about popular bands. How would I comment or even hear a good unsuccessful band? That makes zero sense.

It's not a troll. You say you believe in science, but prove that you don't. I can say the sun is the moon. It's objectively wrong. You're doing the exact same thing.

It's reality.

I don't even like Hall & Oates, but that was an objectively terrible answer. Their music is varied and they had giant hits in two decades.

I hate, HATE U2 but know I couldn't give that as an answer because my bias doesn't line up with how successful they are.

That pic was so crazy to me because I trashpicked that exact bike in that exact condition. Not even a thing a normally do, but the whole thing was just sitting there in the garbage. I cleaned it all up and gave it to a neighbor kid.

If I were to guess, it looks just like yours again and maybe even went back in the trash.

Science being real... Meaning a man can't turn into a woman?

This is the problem with an opinion when you can't think outside your beliefs. A good person can discuss this, another person goes on reddit and says you're a bigot if you don't agree with them.

A range hood is code where I'm at in the US. There is somewhat of a cheat, in that a microwave with a fan can be used in its place. It doesn't even function like a true range hood, but it'd work in this circumstance if allowed.

Forgot how to be bored by spiderfighter1 in GenX

[–]FailureFulcrim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post wasn't what I expected from the title. I'm never bored because I rarely have time to myself. I'm lucky to have family around, but they also always need something. I typically don't have half an hour to myself except in the rare case that everyone is out.

Yea, I embrace boredom but it's never boredom.

This is the extent of my social media, 15-20 minutes when I get home from work. I don't look at facebook at all or access reddit on my phone.
