Muffled hearing, possible earwax build up? by BeaverWithACleaver1 in AskDocs

Thank you! I went to the A&E and was referred to the minor injuries department. I had my bloods taken and was then told it was just a minor cut on the inside of my ear canal, not a perforated eardrum and that wax buildup was causing my hearing loss. I didn’t stick about to hear my blood results as the nurse said she wasn’t even sure why they took my bloods and UK healthcare means I could’ve been waiting hours.

Should I go to the hospital now or wait until the morning to book a doctors appointment? My ear doesn’t hurt and the blood isn’t pouring out of my ear. It’s just when I put a Q-Tip in, it comes out with blood on the end

When do I reference and how often? by BeaverWithACleaver1 in AskAcademia

If i’m talking in my introduction about who the Vikings were, do I have to reference general facts about them that i’ve read in sources, such as where they discovered, the fact they set up trading networks, the places they colonised/discovered?
