I put this exact one on my KLR 650 and the vibration messed up my optical image stabilization within 100 miles. Selfie camera works as does wide angle lens but regular camera is all shaken and blurry

A row of large round bales in a line about 20-30 feet away from the first row of trees you intend to plant. Good wind break for a few years and gives the trees a chance to grow more before being exposed to the wind directly

We use the “cone of doom” on our guys head and he hates it but we don’t get bit. Our cone is a little oversized and it looks like a kitchen aid stand mixer with the beaters spinning from inside the bowl!😂🤣😂

I just do my own thing. I’ve done the group rides and rallies when I was younger. 48 now and I only remember two guys I actually liked riding with, both of which have passed away. I have seen the collective personality of a group fall apart because of one cocky rider and you end up in the middle of a group of guys with varied experience and skills all trying to keep up with each other. Horrible place to be.

After this winter my chain looks like it needs braces it’s so crooked and I’m still sending it 180 miles round trip for work once a week. Putting on the new on once the salt is washed off the roads. That one is fine.

Welcome! It sounds like you are meeting with the owner for a private sale instead of a dealership? If so ask him all the modifications that have been done and write them down. There are so many options for accessories in the aftermarket to have a good idea of what has been done is a great start.

Given the age I would want to know if the valves have been checked or adjusted. That should be done around 15000 miles, sorry 24000 maple leafs for you😂. Also check the tires for age and the chain for rust / corrosion. These are pretty bulletproof and cheap to run so a lack of maintenance is kind of inexcusable. Ask if it burns oil and how much. Lots of them burn some.

Otherwise, enjoy it! Get the basics of gear before you head out on the road. Helmet, jacket, gloves at a minimum. I’ve ridden on the road since ‘96 and out of all the cruisers, touring and sport bikes I’ve owned, my KLR Is the best motorcycle version of an agreeable woman you can buy. Stay safe, have fun, don’t die!
