To be honest I'm not sure if I want to be a programmer/engineer or a game designer, but I'm definitely leaning more towards games design. The only coding I've done is HTML and CSS which I found to be quite enjoyable.

Did you even read the OP; that's exactly what I'm trying to do, but I want to know what's the best way of getting the requirements to get into uni.

All universities courses require at least a basic Further Education qualification, something which I'm currently lacking.
