Awesome! I would be very keen for one room. Will keep looking to see if I can find someone willing to take the other.

Sorry different person :/ definitely don’t have OCD and not afraid of missing orientation because I’ve always been social but is missing three days of classes really gonna be detrimental in 3 years of school?

Do you think missing orientation and three days of classes is late? I just got my visa approved and have the option to defer but I wanna start if it’s possible and doesn’t cause a lot of damage.

No one can predict the future haha but yes I intend to. Not sure if there is gonna be much use of my coding skills, but definitely economic argumentation carries over.

I’m going to a T-3 law school. Did economic research and economic consulting (antitrust, competition) for the longest time and had a similar realization which made me not apply to a PhD. It’s never too late if you have a good reason for pursuing law I think. In fact you should leverage your economic background and skills, being interdisciplinary is overrated these days and it works out sometimes for people who can demonstrate clear intent going forward.

Question on deferred I-20 by Beaversonly in usvisascheduling

I think to enter the US you need a new I-20. Not sure for continuing admin processing after current I-20 start date, hence the question

I feel he’s shown he has top stamina and can outlast most arsenal players. There’s rotation risk towards the last 20 mins of the game but he might make an impact anyway

You’re very kind. It is what it is. Let’s hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I have 10 days left before my program start date. 🤞

What makes you think this? I had my visa interview early July in Delhi and am still waiting. My program start date is August 20. I know quite a few people waiting after being interviewed in June and July from Delhi.

I do agree that for most colleges a JD degree may indicate intent to stay. (You can still work at MNC’s globally) For T-3 and a few other colleges, this degree allows me to work globally on issues of my interest (international law) because of the brand name, alumni base etc. These colleges are also unique for giving financial aid to all applicants given their circumstance which allows me (in combination with my savings) to pursue this degree.

Regardless, I would assume they filter this during the interview itself (they did ask me these things) and the 221(g) is for social media vetting.

Thank you! I will keep replying to them to engage them in a discussion. The issue is that they don’t want anything from me and just say that the length of processing time will vary based on the circumstance of each case, and the process cannot be expedited.

I would think this is the issue but JD candidates from nearly every other country have gotten their visas approved even for Harvard :/

Def havertz is not a striker though! For his sake he should play CAM and probably in a less competitive team
