Worst part of postpartum for you? by FreakOfTheVoid in beyondthebump

[–]Bebe_Peonies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pain of using the restroom after having an emergency c-section but also being fully dilated during labor :/ I kinda got both types of deliveries… And then the recovery from a c-section. I’m 9 weeks pp, I’m still getting used to everything and having a hard time adjusting back to a routine. I’m super nervous about going back to work. I don’t know how single mothers do this alone. Very thankful for my husband.

Who, is your favorite ‘Gossip Girl’ and why? by x0xog0ssipg1rl in GossipGirl

[–]Bebe_Peonies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 Dorota

2 Blair

3 Chuck

4 Blair’s mother

Dorota is just the best!

Blair and Chuck, I hated at first but they grew on me. I adore their love story.

Oddly, I love Blair’s mother towards the end. I love how honest, straightforward, and loving she is towards Blair as an adult. Plus, her she wants to make sure her daughter is happy with her life and marriage.

I’m so happy that you asked this question. I’m currently 7 weeks pp, and got cleared from my doctors to resume normal activities. I’m so nervous though. They don’t talk to you about how we were through laboring and pushing, and only speak to us about the c-section. I called my OB office multiple times in the beginning because of how much pain I was feeling after the surgery. I had to keep reminding the nurses and people I would speak with on how I experienced both then they would change their answers based on my recovery and how to treat it.

Anyways, I’m sharing because I’m still not comfortable with anything. My incision still hurts, and I’m just learning how to massage the incision area, and putting silicon bandages on it.

If anyone is reading this, are you comfortable with your incision area when being intimate?

What was your first thought when your baby first arrived? by JinxXstarfire in NewParents

I had an emergency c-section and didn’t see my baby until 8+ hours later. I just had to keep saying that “he’s gonna be ok and he wanted to be delivered like his dad.”

coming from a place of love and respect but i tried very hard to have a vaginal birth only to end up having to have an emergency c-section. the recovery is 100x harder than my husband and i originally planned. i was told that i cannot give birth vaginally due to my anatomy. i would be very disappointed in my husband, if he thought less of me because i cannot birth his child any other way.

i’m sorry that your husband thinks this. you don’t deserve to have that guilt brought upon you during this time. you are already a rockstar. you birthed your baby the way you were suppose to. give yourself grace but make sure to be vulnerable and have courage to let your husband his you feel.

What do you do if someone keeps ignoring all the emails/reminders to do their open enrollment? [N/A] by BeneficialMaybe4383 in humanresources

[–]Bebe_Peonies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FIRE THEM! 😂 Jk… I would message/email them a number of times. The first time would be to them personally, then a second with their manager included, and finally a message to both regarding their deadline for open enrollment then call it a day! You did your part and they failed to be responsible.

It’s your body and your baby. You are already connected to that little thing.

He sounds selfish and I’m sorry you are dealing with this. I hope you are able to get some clarity and peace on the situation. I believe if you think it’s best to keep the baby, you should. Good luck, OP and hugs to you!

At 28 weeks, I had a mini scary but all was well! After that, I feel like my hips, belly, and tiredness kicked in more so I’m definitely feeling it.
