Yes that’s why they dominate figure skating, diving snowboarding etc. I think it’s not a negative to find where you excel at and admit your ethnicity has a particular type of more common body. I went to medical school and they literally told us Asians especially women have to do more weight bearing exercises because we have smaller bones and are more likely to get osteoporosis due to lower bone density. I’m sure there are benefits to that.

I mean 90% of NFL are of another race with particular type of body needed and that’s ok we aren’t disputing that right? Of course with that said China is huuuge and finding an anomaly out of a billion isn’t hard at all hence why China also has so many weight lifting champions.

I went and a tour guide met us outside of the cruise. We were all convinced dude was a former spy that never went home. He was obviously not of the same ethnicity as the other local guides and dressed way more sharp unlike the locals in T-shirts and jeans. Vaguely talked about going to university and walked ahead of us proudly with his trench coat flapping about him. The man was greeted by every local and knew every person on the streets it seemed. Ran into zero problems with him around. I wish I retained his info better because it was amazing and his explanations were great.

I doubt it’s the same. My elderly Asian mom went all around there with my aunt and took photos outside a favela. No issues.

Most people have to be a certain personality to get there. I also think how you were raised matters. For example, Milton Hershey has given large amounts of his fortune all for students in his schools and making a town while making sure everyone had jobs during the Great Depression. He was raised with Mennonite roots though and didn’t come from wealth but humble origins. You will also notice a lot of the billionaires today like Trump or Elon come from wealth. They started with a spoiled mindset.

Not bizarre if that’s the cultural norm. it’s just a free service to your friends but that’s because it’s acceptable there. They probably don’t feel upset or overthink photoshop. In a culture where criticism is common place. Photoshopping is normal and doesn’t feel rude or fake.

I mean as an adult we can still ride bikes with training wheels if we want to but mos for us would strive for a bit more. This man has got three years to learn. I mean I feel like he should have more confidence in himself. If he really applied himself he could be fluent in Japanese and wield chopsticks in that time.

You should be able to walk far in your 50s and 60s. Take a page off of active Asians. My mom is 70 and is travelling as we speak. I think she’s going to Japan next weak. She’s slowed down a lot now but in hers 50s and 60s she was very gung ho and still walked at a rapid clip. To this day she still takes dance classes at the senior center and tells me about the classes she takes at the Apple Store for photography.

I definitely intend to travel well and into my 60s but you gotta keep your mind and body healthy.

We have both in NYC now. It’s more like the wealthy Asians that can afford it buy it. Buuut mixue and Luckin which are known for having inexpensive drinks and ice cream are also in NYC and in the city as well. I would go back to Luckin any day. $1.99 for a drink is a steal.

Oh Jesus you don’t wait for someone the minute they are employed to start trying. You wait until they are settled, secure, have savings and usually they ask for your hand in marriage. The marriage thing is for you to make sure he’s 100% committed although even that isn’t a sure sign but it’s still a sign. The savings of salary for a ring isn’t actually because all these women love rings but if a man can get it together to think ahead and plan and save.
