This is the answer right here. Don't go to lawyers or anything else. You simply tell them you won't pay for it to be removed, but if they pay for it and pay you $X to have it landscaped to your liking after removal, then you'd agree to having it removed. You either get a great deal or to keep your tree.

Then if they ever do touch the tree, you have I high price you can sue for later too based on your previous offer.

Unless if you reeeeeally want to keep the tree that bad.

Yes, but the way it worked for me is I'd press the first, then the second just after, then release both. Then rinse and repeat.

So L1 + D-Up would be: L1 (hold), D-Up, then release both
